In the Model we have a proud and rich tradition of academic excellence, strong pastoral support and an extensive range of extra curricular provision and after school clubs.
Our ethos is “Celebrating Cultural Diversity.” We welcome children from all faith backgrounds, traditions, cultures, religions and none.
We aim to provide an environment that is welcoming, culturally inclusive and conducive to educational achievement.
I truly believe integration and mutual respect for each other’s differences is of paramount importance and is the way forward for our young people. In the Model we provide many opportunities for our pupils to explore a variety of cultures so they will grow up with a broad and balanced view of life. We help our pupils to value difference and not to prejudge or stereotype in all aspects of life.
We provide a safe, caring environment and endeavour to instill a love of learning whilst striving to create lifelong learners. Every pupil, regardless of their ability, will be able to look back on how s/he has participated in the life of the school and how s/he made a valuable and valued positive contribution.
For me, positive relationships and excellent communication are of paramount importance as we work together towards shared goals. As Principal I will always have an open door and a warm welcome for current or prospective parents/carers.
