SCHOOL UNIFORM

The school uniform helps bond the pupils of all years and classes and emphasises the togetherness of the Model Primary & Nursery School.

Our school uniform is:

Grey Trousers/Skirt/Pinafore

White Shirt

Grey Jumper/Cardigan

Black & Gold Tie 

Black Shoes

Please support the school by ensuring your child is always in uniform.

No particular supplier is recommended and parents are advised to shop around various chain stores. Ties can be purchased from the office. In place of shirt, tie and jumper, Nursery pupils  wear our gold polo shirt and embroidered sweatshirt. The school actively promotes and encourages the wearing of school uniform. 

Uniforms can be purchased in numerous stores in town. Dunnes Stores, Marks & Spencer, Tesco and MJ Fashions on Strand Rd. You can get the logo added at Classic Crests on Spencer Rd. Select Kidz (Spencer Road) and Max Fashions (Waterloo St) sell the embroidered jumpers and cardigans. 

PE gear can be purchased as well in Dunnes, Primark, Tesco and Marks & Spencer. 

School tie is available to purchase in school for £3.50.

Free School Meals and Uniforms Allowance.

Apply for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance for the new school year beginning September, through the Education Authority's online portal,  EA connect.  If you haven't already registered an EA Connect account, its quick and easy to do.  Information can be found on the EA website.

If you have not already applied you can still do so.  Applications at this time of the year can take up to 4 weeks.  You must pay for your child's meals until you get notification through for Free Meals.
