A Visit to the Void Art Gallery

Primary Five children recently went to the Void Gallery to look at some art exhibits. We saw a range of displays including sculptures, murals, a mock up of a lounge, a meal about to be cooked and a table onto which our voices were projected! We really enjoyed producing different sounds. Karen showed us round all the installations and encouraged us to talk about what we thought the artist was thinking. Then she let us have a go at printing our own designs. This was great fun though a bit messy!

When we got back to school, we wrote thank you letters to Karen and she was kind enough to write back to us answering all our queries and questions. Thank you very much to all at the Void and we look forward to our next visit.
