As part of our 'Vets' topic one of our children kindly lent us their Guinea Pig for the day. His name is Rommel and he is 8 years old, which is very old for a Guinea Pig. Eve's mummy came into tell us all about Guinea Pigs and how to look after them. During the day we fed Rommel cherry tomatoes, celery and special dried food. We made sure that Rommel had plenty of water and that we didn't scare him. We liked having a class pet.
