P2/3 Tesco Visit

On Tuesday 8th March Mrs Ramsey's P2/3 class visited Tesco on the Strand Road. We got a great welcome and did some interesting activities.

We were told all about the Sugar Smart - Change 4 Life app which counts the number of spoons of sugar in our food. We were shocked at the results. A bottle of coke has 14 spoons and a small  bottle of ketchup has a whooping 38 spoons!

Download the app and use it in the supermarket. Then you can start to make some small changes too.
